4 Elements - Part 4 Fire
Symbolic meaning
Like all other elements, ruled by God, even the fire several meanings in the Bible. On cold days, people can warm up. Some tools can not be made without fire. It can also be a command for war. Let‘s turn to what God wants us to say through them.
As the heat: A hot meal can raise your spirits. Warmth sought good relations. Also, the spark that jumps over use, people symbolically.
Isaiah 44:15
"Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof, and warm himself; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread; yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto."
James 2:16
"And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?"
As purification: To get nuggets, one must remove the slag. This process uses the Bible to show that the man‘s vices and bad things have to be removed.
James 4:8
"Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded."
Ephesians 4:31
"Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:"
As the court: Sodom and Gomorrah are certainly understandable. Both cities have burned because of their wickedness God. Fire in this case means destruction, not a place where people are tortured. It proves God‘s love for us that we choose by our disobedience is not the destruction but have eternal life through our obedience!
2 Peter 3:7
"But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men."
By elements JEHOVAH declared our future!
